It is best to make medical appointments outside of school hours wherever possible. If a pupil must leave school during the school day for any reason, a note from home must be provided in your child’s student planner.
If leaving school for a medical appointment pupils must sign out at the pupil office and if returning later in the day must sign in again.
At the end of the school day all pupils must leave via the Pink Bank Lane Exit. The only exceptions to this are the pupils for whom community transport has been arranged and those for whom private transport is a necessity.
The school car park is for staff and visitors. Unfortunately there is no room for general parking. When picking up or dropping off pupils please park sensibly in the areas around the school and be considerate of residents and other road users. In the interests of safety may we remind you that parking on the pavement is dangerous as it can obstruct pedestrians, impair their vision when crossing the road and particularly at the Kirkmanshulme Lane exit block the vision of motorists leaving the school car park.
Free school meals are available to eligible pupils. Please check eligibility online.
All payments to school must be paid using Parent Pay. The school does not accept cash, cheques, cards etc.
We have high standards of dress and our uniform policy was produced following an extensive survey of parents, pupils, staff and governors.
