As well as weekly assemblies, dedicated Form Period sessions and a strong Access curriculum, we engage with experts on a variety of issues to make sure all our staff can support young people in having a healthy lifestyle and fulfilling their potential.

We ensure that all staff recognise that children are capable of abusing their peers. The senior leadership team and the governing body are responsible for ensuring that procedures exist to minimise the risk of peer on peer abuse and consider how allegations of peer on peer abuse will be investigated and dealt with. There is a clear procedure on how victims of peer on peer abuse will be supported. If you have any concerns that your child has experienced any gender-based violence, sexual violence or harassment please contact the school immediately and your concerns will be fully investigated. Further help is available from a dedicated helpline number 0800 136 663 as well as the usual NSPCC helpline number 0800 800 5000.
As a school we work with a number of partner agencies, which include a School Counsellor, Thrive and 42nd street via the Thive initiative, on-site, in school working with pupils around Social, emotional & mental health difficulties (SEMH)

School Nurse
St Peter’s has a nurse attached to the school on Mondays, if you have any health concerns your child’s head of year may discuss referrals to the nurse with you.
Free school meals are available to eligible pupils. Please check eligibility online.
All payments to school must be paid using Parent Pay. The school does not accept cash, cheques, cards etc.
We have high standards of dress and our uniform policy was produced following an extensive survey of parents, pupils, staff and governors.
