The Charter Standard for Schools programme is a kite marking scheme that establishes minimum standards of football development in schools.
It is also a means by which good practice is recognised and will raise standards by sharing this good practice.
CRITERIA
The criteria for achieving Charter Standard include;
Minimum FA qualifications for teachers
Football to be provided to boys and girls in the curriculum
Football to be provided for boys and girls out of school hours
Schools to be affiliated to the English Schools Football Association
School to club link with a junior football club
The Charter Standard offers a benefits package to schools including tickets to youth and women’s games.
