St Peter’s RC High School well and truly rocked the stage with our 2026 production of School of Rock — and what a phenomenal success it was!
Over a series of unforgettable performances, our talented cast and dedicated crew delivered a show bursting with energy, confidence and outstanding musical ability. From powerful vocals to electrifying band performances, every moment showcased the incredible commitment and teamwork of our students.
This year’s production was made even more special as we welcomed over 300 Year 5 pupils from our partner primary schools — St Anne’s, St Brigid’s, Divine Mercy, St Francis, St Joseph’s, St Mary’s, St Richard’s, Sacred Heart and St Willibrord’s. Throughout the week, they embraced the spirit of rock as they rehearsed and performed tribute acts to legendary artists, setting the atmosphere perfectly before each evening performance. Their enthusiasm and courage were truly inspiring.
Our Year 7–11 students took full ownership of the production, not only shining on stage but also working tirelessly behind the scenes. From set and props to sound and lighting, poster and merchandise design, pupils experienced first-hand the collaboration, dedication and professionalism required to stage a large-scale production. Their hard work paid off in spectacular style.
We are immensely proud of every student involved. Their talent, resilience and teamwork embody the very best of our school community.
