This half term we prepared for Lent in many ways, including having a whole KS3 mass.
During this half term was International Women’s Day forms reflected on the meaning of this and groups were invited to make badges and write messages of empowerment.
On the 20th March was World Happiness Day, forms were invited to write ‘Words or Actions of Kindness’.
Half term 4 links to Article 2 ‘No Discrimination’ as we celebrated International Women’s Day, from this we can link Article 19 ‘Protection from Violence’.
April 22nd is Stephen Lawrence Day The 8th of May is VE day, where we remember the end of WW2.
Peace is a state of harmony in the absence of hostility and violence. In a societal sense, peace is commonly used to mean a lack of conflict (such as war) and freedom from fear of violence between individuals or groups.
