Award-winning Cafe FUSION is run by St Peter’s in-house catering department and offers a wide range of healthy food to suit every taste.
Our menus are regularly reviewed to take advantage of healthy eating guidelines. We are fully compliant with the government legislation on healthy school meals, and as a result of our high standards we have recently gained further official commendation - The Healthy Schools Award Gold Status.
The school's horticultural project provides us with a fantastic source of the freshest possible seasonal ingredients. Cafe FUSION benefits from the many varieties of organic herbs that are grown and tended on school grounds by our pupils. We take pleasure in preparing and cooking the fresh ingredients that we have harvested ourselves, so that the pupils and staff can enjoy eating them at the traditional time of year.
Cafe FUSION caters for all tastes. We offer vegetarian options, allergy-friendly food. Our curries are very popular as well as Italian food, traditional Irish dishes, and fish and chips on Fridays - to name but a few.
The catering manager attends regular meetings with the school council which allows pupils to voice their opinions on the food and service, which provides us with valuable feedback.
