Blackpool Trip 2019
As part of our rewards programme for good attendance and behaviour, a trip has been arranged to Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
To qualify for the trip pupils must continue to achieve the following:
- Excellent attendance to school
- A high standard of behaviour in school
- Good punctuality
Coaches will depart school at 9.15am and return to school at approximately 4.30 – 5.00pm depending on traffic conditions. The cost of the trip is £27.00 which includes the coach hire and the purchase of the Pleasure Beach wristband which allows the children free and unlimited access to the majority of the rides for the whole day.
Some spending money will be required to purchase drinks and snacks and you may wish to provide a packed lunch as full meals at the park can be expensive. Pupils who normally receive a free school meal will be provided with a packed lunch from school.
Pupils are not required to wear school uniform. However, it would be advisable to consider the weather conditions on the day and wear appropriate clothing. Large bags should not be brought as there is nowhere to leave them.
Staff will be available to oversee and assist the children throughout the day. Please read through the health and safety guidelines overleaf which detail the school’s expectations for the trip. It is vital all pupils fully understand the rules and conduct requirements for the day.
Please find more information and consent letters below:
If you wish for your child to go on the trip please complete the tear-off consent form overleaf and return it to the Head of Year – Mrs Fowler as soon as possible but by no later than Wednesday 3rd July 2019.
