Christmas Markets

On Monday 26th of November the Year 9 Travel and Tourism class were able to go and visit the Christmas markets in Manchester. This was a part of our tourist attraction topic. We visited the many stalls and some of us tested different types of foods. We went to understand more about the markets, why it exists and why people from different countries come to visit. It is also known as the German markets because many of the stalls are run by German people. We saw lots of different types of cultures, people and food from all over including lots of delicious deserts. “It smelt and felt like Christmas time!” said Camilla. “It was a lovely trip and helped us understand about the market and why it attracts people including ourselves.”
