Year 7 boys and girls athletics teams were crowned Manchester Schools Champions when they both won the Manchester Schools Indoor Athletics Championships at Sports City.

Spine Chillers - Into the Dark
As part of the Gifted and Talented booster sessions last year, our pupils entered the Young Writers ‘Spine-Chillers – Into The Dark’ short story competition. Ten of our pupils were selected among the best nationally and are to have their work published in an anthology.

Diocesan Mercy Door
The Mercy Door represents the Holy Door in the Vatican, which is traditionally opened during a Jubilee Year and is a place of Pilgrimage, was blessed by Bishop John Arnold and will visit all 208 Diocesan schools.
As a school, we have been following a TEEP cycle, which breaks lessons down into six parts so that we have the opportunity to get the best out of our learning. Teachers have been focusing on making them more interesting and exciting and preparing pupils to be more independent learners.
Exam Results Day 2016
Congratulations to year 11 on achieving excellent GCSE results. 59% of St Peter’s students achieved the headline figure of A*-C in English and mathematics which is one of the most impressive results in Manchester.
