Friendships Strengthen with School 66
Three teachers and eighteen students spent their time with us in school, attending assemblies and a variety of lessons, including Art, Science, ICT, Maths, PE, English, Chinese, Textiles and Food Technology. In turn we were treated to the ancient art of knot making and paper-cutting. The group was welcomed by the Lord Mayor of Manchester in his apartments in the Town Hall.
Visits were also made to the Lake District, Stratford, Oxford, Cambridge, London, Chester, Chatsworth House, the BMX centre and the Velodrome, the Manchester city centre.
It was a very full two week programme and thanks are due to all teachers and the nine students who have visited School 66 in China. We are in the process of selecting the next students to make the visit at the end of March next year.
We will be making our visit to School 66 in April 2018!
