International Schools Award ISA

 Pupils receiving the International Award

St Peter’s has again been awarded the British Council’s prestigious International School Award in recognition of its work to bring the world into the classroom. The International Schools Award is a badge of honour for schools that do outstanding work in international education, both in the classroom and through links with partner schools overseas. The award is applied for every three years.

Fostering an international dimension in the curriculum helps young people gain the cultural understanding and skills they need to live and work as global citizens. St Peter’s international work involved every student and member of staff. The school has links with schools in China, Ghana and Spain.

In reviewing our award, the British Council said:

“This is a credit to your school. It demonstrates clearly your commitment to understanding and applying the principles of international education in a creative and imaginative way. Your ambassadorial role is absolutely excellent in guiding and mentoring
